"Mighty No. 9" Locks Down PlayStation 4, Xbox One, 3DS, and PS Vita

More systems confirmed for 2015 Mega Man-style platformer

The Kickstarter campaign for Keiji Inafune's spiritual successor to Mega Man, Mighty No. 9, is pretty much a wrap at this point. In its last hours it managed the impressive feat of securing some key stretch goals, including releases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS, and PS Vita.

Abstraction Games, the studio that brought Hotline Miami to Sony's platforms, will be in charge of the portable Mighty No. 9.

If you missed the previous update, be sure to have a look at the Unreal Engine-powered test that gives a general idea of how the game might end up playing. Mighty No. 9 ended up generating over $3.5 million in crowd-funding support.
