Warner Japan's YouTube anime official site has posed a 90-second commercial for Kisida Kyodan & The Akebosi Rockets' 2nd major single from Geneon Universal, "Strike the Blood." The song is now featured as the OP theme for the 2013 fall TV anime of the same title. The CD single will be released in Japan on October 30. The unit made their professional debut with the 1st single "HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD" in August 2010. The OP song for the 2010 TV anime of the same name took a very good 10th place in the Oricon weekly single charts in the first week.
The ED song for the anime "Strike my soul" by Yuka Iguchi will hit Japanese stores on November 27 as a coupling single with "rainbow heart♡rainbow dream☆." She also voices a homunculus girl named Astartē in the anime.
The Strike the Blood TV anime is now available to Crunchyroll audiences in North America, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, Scandinavia, South Africa, Central America, South America, Caribbean, Turkey, Italy, Austria, Germany, Lichtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Poland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Romania.
