US "Weekly Shonen Jump" Adds "Seraph of the End" Manga to Lineup

Series officially replaces Akira Toriyama's "Jaco the Galactic Patrolman"

As Scott noted at the beginning of the month, it wasn't that difficult of a leap to make, but those who predicted that the newest addition to the US Weekly Shonen Jump would be Seraph of the End were absolutely right.

Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign—written by Takaya Kagami, with art by Yamato Yamamoto—runs in Jump Square, which is also home to Blue Exorcist. Now that Akira Toriyama's Jaco the Galactic Patrolman is out of the picture, you can start reading Seraph of the End in Viz Media's weekly digital magazine.

Viz's synopsis:

After a catastrophic epidemic kills every adult on earth, vampires arise from the shadows to enslave the remaining human population. Yuichiro and his friends are kept as vampire fodder in a creepy underground city. Yuichiro dreams of one day fighting back, and the first step is staging a daring escape from their vampire overlords...
