While this is far from confirmation, it certainly isn't much of a stretch to learn Resident Evil 7 might be in development at Capcom. According to a LinkedIn résumé, costume designer Karen Brakenridge, who was also a costumer for the RAD live-action Speed Racer film, worked on the title from November 2012 to January 2013.
The résumé—originally linked on the NeoGAF message board—lists motion capture and animation studio House of Moves, which has worked on a handful of games, including Gears of War 3.
Capcom hasn't said anything about Resident Evil 7 yet, but if the title is correct then it looks like development may have kicked off around the time RE6 was wrapping up. What hopes do you have for RE7? Would you like to see Capcom continue ramping up the action, or dial things back and bring the series closer to its roots?
