"Kamen Teacher" Live-Action Film to Follow Up Drama in 2014

Adaptation is based on the manga by GTO's Tohru Fujisawa

The live-action take on Kamen Teacher—based on the manga by GTO's Tohru Fujisawa—isn't stopping with the now-concluded drama. A film was recently announced, and it's set to premiere in Japan on February 22, 2014.



The manga—which centers on a teacher who deals with his class's trouble students with the masked power of Kamen Teacher—ran in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump from 2006-2007, and was followed more recently by Kamen Teacher Black


Kis-My-Ft2's Taisuke Fujigaya plays the titular Kamen Teacher, known out of costume as Gota Araki. Other cast members include Sexy Zone's Fuma Kikuchi (Future Diary), Mikie Hara (Cutie Honey), Takumi Saito (Miles Edgeworth in Takashi Miike's Ace Attorney), and Aya Omasa (Paradise Kiss).
