"Ultra Street Fighter IV" Has an April 2014 Date with Japanese Arcades

Next update adds Ultra Combo Double and more next year

Thanks to Japanese arcade center Kagoshima Amusement Liberty, we now have an idea of when Ultra Street Fighter IV is scheduled to hit arcades in Japan. According to some info they tweeted, the updated version arrives there in April of next year.


If you just want to wait for the home version, that's set for early 2014 as a $40 standalone release on PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, or a $15 upgrade for those who own Super Street Fighter: Arcade Edition.  


A few days ago Capcom shared details on Ultra Street Fighter IV's new battle systems, which add mechanics like the Ultra Combo Double and Red Focus Attack. If you haven't had a chance to see some of what's cooking, peep the video below.
