Electric Charging Poles Inspired by "Evangelion" Installed in Hakone

Featuring EVA-00,01, 02, and five main characters

"Electric Charging Pole ELSEEV" is a pole type of electric charging facility for electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles to be installed in parking lots. It was developed by Panasonic Electric Work in 2010 for the general public use. To promote their activities, Panasonic's Eco Solutions installed two ELSEEV charging poles designed after EVA-01 and EVA-02 in Hakone, where Tokyo-3 is located in the Evangelion series. The pole modeled after EVA-01 is at the Michi no Eki shop in Hakone-toge Pass, and the EVA-02 poll is at Hakone Botanical Garden of Wetlands. The photo attached with the press release tells us that the company is definitely planning to install more Evangellion electric charging polls in Japan in the near future.
