"Gundam" Illustrations for Your New Year’s Cards Now Available Online

Best New Year's greetings for your anime friends

PIXUS×GUNDAM PROJECT, a collaboration project between Canon's Inkjet printer brand PIXUS and Sunrise's long-running robot anime series Mobile Suit Gundam, has started offering seven illustration materials for New Year's cards provided by the 1st Gundam's original character designer Yoshikazu Yasuhiko and mecha designer Kunio Okawara via its "Print Base" site. Yasuhiko's four illustrations are the original arts used for the 1982 film Mobile Suit Gundam: Encounters in Space, the third installment of the compilation trilogy films which were based on the first Gundam TV series in 1979-1980. Okawara's three illustrations are originally drawn for the "Mobile Suit Gundam MSV-R" project in Kadokawa Shoten's Gundam Ace magazine. These illustrations are available to download from November 26 to January 15.
