Yes, the title is a cliche, but there's a logical explication here. Otaku TV personality/voice actor/idol singer Shoko "Shokotan" Nakagawa is set to release "Once Upon a Time -Kibou no Uta-," end theme to the Japanese version of American fairytale drama Once Upon a Time, as her 17th single on December 11th. Inspired by its Rapunzel themed cover art, Shokotan has been drawing the heroine of Disney's CG Tangled movie.

The "Fir Tree" art was created by Yuni Yoshida, winner of the Music Jacket Award 2013, and in addition to One Upon a Time theme, nods to the single's second track, Sakasama Sekai (Inverted World), she appears upside down.
