"Ultra Street Fighter IV" to Beat Up Consoles in June

Players can upgrade digitally or purchase the standalone game

Along with details on the Capcom Cup schedule, the Capcom Unity blog provided some release information for Ultra Street Fighter IV. The next edition will be available as a digital upgrade for Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in early June 2014, with a full release set to arrive in the same month.

The upgrade will be priced at $14.99, with the full standalone version heading to both digital and retail for $39.99. Basically, Capcom wants to give players a chance to practice for Evolution 2014.

PC players can look forward to the $14.99 digital upgrade in August, with a digital-only release of the full version coming at the same time for $29.99. Capcom apologizes for the PC delay, saying it was done so they "could insure that Ultra Street Fighter IV would be included in the largest fighting game tournament in the world."
