Oricon, a data compiling company specializing in providing data for the Japanese music/book industry, yesterday announced the sales ranking of the 2013 top-selling singles and albums in Japan, which was compiled between December 10, 2012 and December 8, 2013. As repeatedly reported, the top-selling anime song single of 2013 is Linked Horizon's "Jiyu he no Shingeki," which includes "Guren no Yumiya," the 1st OP theme for the Attack on Titan TV anime. It ranked in a 30th place selling 230,810 units.
Following the super-hit, two collaboration songs by Nana Mizuki and T.M.Revolution ranked in the top 60, "Preserved Roses" (Valvrave the Liberator 1st OP) on a 35th with 175,828 units sales and "Kakumai Dualism" (Valvrave the Liberator 2nd OP) on a 59th with 113,170 units. Nana Mizuki also did a good job in the album sales chart. Her 9th album "ROCKBOUND NEIGHBORS" gets a 42nd place
selling 139,004 units. No other anime artists can be found at least in the Top 100. Adding her 29th single
"Vitalization" in a 84th place in the single ranking, Mizuki is no doubt the most successful anime singer of the year.
