Folks looking forward to Bravely Default will be getting an early treat next year, with the announcement of a special side story demo for North America. The demo features an exclusive story with "hours of content not included in the main game," and it's coming on January 2, 2014.
That's not all Nintendo had to say about Bravely Default. Closing the system during an active game can net players more warriors via StreetPass. Every eight cumulative hours of down time will earn Sleep Points, which can be used for various effects during battle, like changing equipment, reviving allies, and more. SP Points will also be available to purchase in the eShop.
The full North American release of Bravely Default is set for February 7, 2014.
