It is officially announced today on January 18 in the March 2014 issue of Ichijinsha's Comic Yurihime that a short TV anime adaptation of Kuzushiro's 4-panel comedy manga Inugami-san to Nekoyama-san is set for April 2014. The news was also reported by the manga author herself on her twitter account. She said, "Thank you, I will try harder on my manga, too." and posted a special illustration. The manga has been serialized in the magazine since November 2011 and so far two tankobon volumes have been published in Japan.
The official site for the anime has also launched today and revealed a key visual featuring the anime version characters. It is produced by Seven (Recorder and Randsell, Ai Mai Mi) and directed by Shinpei Nagai. He said early today, "This is my directorial debut! I'll do my best!." It will be broadcasted on TV Saitama, TV Kanagawa, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto.
