Capcom and Twitch Team Up for "Capcom Pro Tour" League

Yearlong fighting game league includes events, trade shows, and more

Capcom and Twitch have joined forces to give the fighting game community even more support with the announcement of the Capcom Pro Tour league. The yearlong tourney aims to provide global leagues and structure, and will start with Super Street Fighter IV AE Version 2012 before moving on to Ultra Street Fighter IV this June.

The Capcom Pro Tour will culminate in December's 16-person Capcom Cup Grand Finals. Winning at one of ten premier events lands you a spot in the Cup, with the other six spots to be determined by points earned at ranking and premier events.

Southeast Asia Majors (June 20~22 – Singapore)

Community Effort Orlando (June 27~29 – Orlando, FL, USA)

Evolution Championship Series (July 11~13 – Las Vegas, NV, USA)

The Fall Classic (October 10~12 – Raleigh, NC, USA)

DreamHack Winter (November 27~30 – Jönköping, Sweden)

SoCal Regionals (February 28~March 2, Los Angeles, CA, USA)

PAX East (April 11~13 – Boston, MA, USA)

E3 (June 10~12 – Los Angeles, CA, USA)
