"Corpse Party: Blood Drive" Gets More Details and a Release Date

"Book of Shadows" sequel hits PS Vita in Japan on July 24

It's been a while since we posted about Corpse Party: Blood Drive. Japanese gaming mag Famitsu has an update on the Corpse Party: Book of Shadows sequel, which picks up right after the last game left off.

The exploration portions of Blood Drive will be in 3D, and there will also be CG event scenes. Some of the characters confirmed for the game include Ayumi Shinozaki, Naomi Nakashima, Magari Mizuki, and Aiko Niwa. The end will feature the work of Corpse Party manga artist Makoto Kedouin.

No publisher has announced plans to localize Corpse Party: Blood Drive yet, but it's now set for a July 24 Japanese release on PS Vita in both ¥6,800 ($66) standard and ¥8,800 ($86) limited edition versions.
