VIDEO: 5 Short Films for "Ghost in The Shell ARISE border: less project"

As reported, the five short films by young Japanese film makers for "Ghost in the Shell ARISE: border:less project" are now online. They were first screened at Toho Cinemas Nihonbashi in Tokyo yesterday on March 28, then posted on the official YouTube channel of the Ghost in the Shell series today. The project is produced by Katsuyuki Motohiro, who is best known for his mega-hit TV/film drama series Odoru Daisousasen/Bayside Shakedown starring Yuji Oda.

 

He announced the project at Sanuki Film Festival 2014 in Kagawa Prefecture of the Shikoku island on February 22. He revealed that five young film makers selected by him were going to create short films based on or inspired by the world of the on-going OVA series Ghost in the Shell ARISE. As you can check below, each director shows a distinctively different perspective and story-telling style. Watch the five shorts and please tell us which is your most favorite.
