"Corpse Party: Blood Drive" Gets Some New Screens

Sequel hits PS Vita in Japan on July 24

It wasn't too long ago that we posted the Japanese release date and details for Corpse Party: Blood Drive, which continues two months after the events of Book of Shadows

The story of Blood Drive finds Ayumi Shinozaki enrolling in Kisaragi Academy after getting out of the hospital following some strange events, including the unfortunate incurring of black magic. At the academy she learns of the deaths of Mayu and Yui, but a mysterious hooded boy tells her how she can bring her friends back to life.

All she has to do is retrieve the Book of Shadows again and use it at Heavenly Host Academy. She swears to do so, and leaves to pay a visit to a blood relative named Makina.

As previously reported, the exploration portions in Blood Drive will be in 3D. Voice actresses Asami Imai (Ayumi) and Yumi Hara (Satsuki Mizuhara) perform the game's opening. Other cast members include Saori Hayami as Kuon Niwa, Jun Ohsuka as Misuto Kirya, and Maaya Uchida as Magari Midzuki.
