Crunchyroll Adds "S.D.B. National Police Agency Special Defense Bureau" J-Drama

There’s much more to Crunchyroll’s new offerings for Spring 2014 besides anime. Take for example S.D.B. National Police Agency Special Defense Bureau, a new J-Drama based on the manga by Hidebu Takahashi.


S.D.B. National Police Agency Special Defense Bureau is set to broadcast every Friday starting on April 4, at 11:00 pm Pacific Time, and free members able to watch one week later. More information can be found on www.crunchyroll.com/tokubou.  

 

 

Story and background

 

In a world that is crawling with vermin, crimes commited by ordinary people happen everyday. Food mislabelling, high school girls’ compensated dating, businesses that exploit employees, one man will take them on despite the high frequency, Asakura Sohei of the National Police Agency Special Defense Bureau, also known as S.D.B . S.D.B’s goal is eliminate crimes that would usually go unchecked.

 

Starring Ihara Tsuyoshi, known for his role in Hatsukoi as Mishima Tadashi, as Asakura Sohei, Adachi Yumi as Kano Miyuki and Kohei Matsushita as Keichi Tsuji.
