"Ultra Street Fighter IV" Beats Up Japanese Arcades on April 17

Fifth new character Decapre to be added as a future update

Back in October an April 2014 window was revealed for Ultra Street Fighter IV's arrival in Japanese arcades. Now, as Dengeki Online reports, producer Yoshinori Oni announced the concrete date of April 17.

When Ultra Street Fighter IV debuts it will be without its latest roster addition, Decapre, who is still in the fine-tuning stage. The rest of the new characters—Elena, Rolento, Poison, and Hugo—will be playable, with Decapre set to join the lineup later via an update patch.
