"Sword Art Online" Breaks Barnes & Noble Sci-Fi and Fantasy Top 10

First of Reki Kawahara's original light novels reaches fourth place

Move over Game of Thrones, here comes Sword Art Online! The anime's Japanese Twittter account noted this weekend that Yen Press' April 22nd release of the first of Reki Kawahara's original light novels broke into book seller Barnes & Noble's sci-fi and fantasy daily genre rankings and climbed to 4th place.

The folks at Dengeki Bunko were especially wowed considering what they called a lack of light novel culture in North America.
