"Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi" Limited Edition Pushed to May 20

Standard edition and download version still due out on May 6

Aksys Games shot out a press release to notify everyone that the limited edition version of Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi has been slightly delayed. Originally scheduled for a May 6 release, the limited edition will now arrive on May 20.


Here's what Aksys had to say about the delay:  

Aksys Games takes pride in providing quality products to its fans, and Hakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi Limited Edition is no different. While in manufacturing, we found that one of the limited edition components was not up to our standards. In order to give fans the limited edition they deserve, we have decided to delay the ship date ofHakuoki: Stories of the Shinsengumi Limited Edition to May 20, 2014 to correct the issue. We apologize for the inconvenience to all our fans. Rest assured we are working as quickly as we can to resolve this issue. Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.   


As previously reported, the $59.99 limited edition packs the game with a traditional Japanese "Omamori" love charm, a Hakuoki hair comb, hair pin, and premium box.



The standard and PSN download versions of Hakuoki will still arrive on May 6.
