Live-Action "Bakuman" Planned for 2015

Hitoshi Ōne directs adaptation of Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's manga about making manga

Earlier today, there was Twitter buzz that a live-action adaptation of Bakuman, the manga about making manga, was filming in Hachioji. It didn't take long for this to become official with news that a live-action movie based on Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata's Shonen Jump series is planned for 2015.

Hitoshi Ōne, who previously directed the live-action adaptation of Mitsurou Kubo manga Moteki helms the movie with Takeru Satoh (live-action Kenshin's Kenshin) as Moritaka Mashiro and Ryunosuke Kamiki (live-action Kenshin's Sōjirō Seta) as Akito Takagi.
