Toei Animation to Launch New Smartphone Game "Circle Pandemica"

An anime adaptation project is also considered

Toei Animation, one of the oldest anime production studios in Japan (established in 1952), has launched an official site for its new original smartphone game Enkan no Pandemica/Circle Pandemica, and has begun accepting pre-registrations. The native app game is developed by Studio Fake (PSP game J.League Pro Soccer Club o Tsukurou! 7 Euro Plus) and is scheduled to start its service by the end of this month. 


The story of the apocalyptic horror game is set in the modern world occupied by the bestial "leapers" infected by a mysterious new virus. The remained unaffected people must fight against them to survive and find a way to stop the pandemic. According an official of Toei Animation, they are considering a possible anime adaptation project in future, and is also looking to expand its business into other Asian markets.
