"Final Fantasy III" on Its Way to PC Soon

Steam release optimized for PC, includes Achievements

Earlier today Square Enix announced plans to release Final Fantasy III on PC via Steam. The classic RPG will make its way to the service soon, and will be optimized for PC, including unlockable Steam Trading Cards and Achievements, as well as new visual designs for the Job Mastery Cards.

This is based on the enhanced 3D version of Final Fantasy III, which first debuted on Nintendo DS and was most recently tweaked for release on iOS. The Steam version will be priced at $15.99.
