Europe Gets "Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment" PS Vita Game in July

Bandai Namco Games confirms plans for Europe and Australasia

Sword Art Online fans in Europe and Australasia can look forward to digging into the upcoming PS Vita game, and Bandai Namco Games announced a release month. Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment hits the regions this July and, just like the North American version, will come packing PSP game Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment


Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment will also be digital-only in Europe and Australasia. Here's how Bandai Namco sums it up:


Based on the novel, manga and anime, Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragmentcaptures the characters and storyline of the SAO universe – a series of virtual-reality worlds set in the near future. Players enter the VR worlds of SAO and discover that the creator of the game, Akihiko Kayaba, has locked them inside these worlds. To escape these worlds, players must explore and defeat the enemies contained within. Continuing to fight is key inside the VR world – if the player dies in the fantasy world, he also dies in real life…
