Main Staff for "Wolf Girl & Black Prince" TV Anime Announced

The official site for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Ayuko Hatta's shoujo manga Okami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji/Wolf Girl & Black Prince today announced its three main staff. 44-year-old Kenichi Kasai directs the anime for an as-yet-revealed company.


He has been working on many anime adaptations of popular manga such as Chika Umino's Honey and Clover (1st season in 2005), Takuya Mitsuda's MAJOR (2004-2010), Tomoko Ninomiya's Nodame Cantabile (1st season in 2007), Takako Shimura's Aoi Hana/Sweet Blue Flowers (2009), and Tsugumi Ohba & Takeshi Obata's Bakuman. (co-directed with Noriaki Akitaya, 2010-2013). He is also currently working on the TV anime adaptation of Eiki Eiki & Taishi Zaou's boys love manga Love Stage!!.

Character design/Chief animation director: Maki Fujioka (La Corda d'Oro series)



The story centers on a 16-year-old high school girl Erika Shinohara. She is always showing off by talking

about love stories with her boyfriend. But the truth is that she has never had one in her entire 16 year life.

One day she takes a sneak shot of a good-looking boy she saw in town and makes a display of it claiming

he's her boyfriend. Then soon she learns the boy is Kyoya Sata, who goes to the same school as her. He

agrees to keep the secret and pretend as her boyfriend for her, but in return he orders her to be his "dog."



The voice cast of the Drama CD which was bundled with the special edition of the 6th volume published

in May 2013 will reprise their roles in the TV anime.
