PreCure Voice Actress Fumie Mizusawa to Publish Her First Light Novel Book

The voice of Cure Marine (Heartcatch PreCure!)

Shueisha's light novel imprint Super Dash Bunko will publish "Kagurazaka GT: Gakeppuchi Cafe Kyushitsu Sakusen Kaigi" (A rescue strategy meeting for a cafe in crisis) written by 34-year-old anime voice actress Fumie Mizusawa, on June 25. Mizusawa is best known as the voice of Erika Kurumi/Cure Marine in Heartcatch PreCure! (2010-2011), the seventh and the most successful PreCure TV series.

Mizusawa started writing novels in 2011. After reading her story for Shueisha's Roman Award, the editorial department of Cobalt, a bimonthly anthology of shoujo novels, decided to publish her novel in the magazine. Then she made her novelist debut with a short story "Neko-sama no Gift" in its January 2013 issue.

The story of "Kagurazaka GT," Mizusawa' first newly-written novel book, is set in Kagurazaka, Tokyo, and

centers on a high school boy Eisuke who recently returned to the town. With a help of his old playmates, he

tries to save "Cafe GREEN" run by his childhood idol Masumi Asano. The illustrations are drawn by Shirabi

(Musaigen no Fantom World, Ore ga Ikiru Imi).
