The Henneko fans at news satire The Daily Show have weighed in on Japan's new loli laws, banning the possession of child porn. After noting that Japan might be the first country to introduce a pancake making robot before introducing such restrictions, host John Stewart took the topic in a more controversial direction.

 

Stewart remarked on the fact that anime and manga are excempt from the law, admonishing “That is embarrassing, Japan. That is embarrassing. How can a lobby for a harmful, destructive industry take precedence over the protection of children?”

 

Then the NRA American gun lobby logo came up on his video screen...
