"Gantz" Author Draws Optimus Prime

"Transformers: Age of Extinction" opens in Japan on 8.8

Gantz manga author Hiroya Oku has spoken about his appreciation for American action movies. He's said that he particularly likes Die Hard and that he's been a fan of Michael Bay since Bad Boys. With Transformers: Age of Extinction hitting Japanese theaters August 8th, he's done an interview with Natalie about the film and presented a sketch of Optimus Prime, meshing the movie version of the Autobot leader with his Gantz suit design.

 

  

Otaku TV personality/voice actor/idol singer Shoko "Shokotan" Nakagawa has been introduced as the Japanese voice of Nicola Peltz's Tessa Yeager. This character is the daughter of Mark Wahlberg's inventor/single father Cade Yeager.
