Omega Force's action game hits Japan on February 18, the west in 2016

Some more information on Omega Force and Koei Tecmo's upcoming Attack on Titan game recently came out of a Famitsu interview with director Tomoyuki Kitamura and producer Hisashi Koinuma. Those wondering who all they'll be able to play as can look forward to ten playable characters, including Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Krista, Sasha, Connie, Jean, Levi, Hange, and Erwin.

While the game will depict the events of the anime adaptation from beginning to end, there will also be original episodes highlighting various characters, with contributions from author Hajime Isayama and the supervising editor.

Additional modes beyond Story Mode include an Investigation Outside the Walls Mode, which will let players take on missions outside the walls as a chosen character. Benefits of these missions include finding materials, earning funds, and character development. There's also a Warriors-style Free Mode that unlocks after clearing Story Mode.

You can read the full breakdown, including more details on the actual action and Titan-battling, over at Gematsu.

Attack on Titan hits PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PS Vita in Japan on February 18, with a western release to follow sometime next year.
