Earlier this week, anime studio Ufotable (Fate/zero, stay night[Unlimited Blade Works]) made a show of celebrating the February 17th birthday of Kara no Kyoukai: Garden of Sinners heroine Shiki Ryougi. During a re-run of Fate/zero, a ufotable animated commercial revealed the collaboration, which will have an event story in the Fuyuki and 4☆ Assassin Ryougi Shiki. In addition in story element and support character crossovers between the series, Shiki was previously featured in PSP RGP Fate/Extra.
The 1998 Kara no Kyōkai lighter novels were adapted into a 2007 series of anime movies by ufotable.
Ufotable will be celebrated with an offering at their Cafe & Dining establishments, which will also be showcasing the 3D blu-ray version of Kara no Kyoukai’s first film “Fukan Fuukei (Overlooking View)"
