"Yu-Gi-Oh!" Manga Returns to Shonen Jump with One-Shot First Time in 12 Years

All-new feature film hits Japanese theaters April 23

Shueisha has announced that the original Yu-Gi-Oh! manga author Kazuki Takahashi draws a new one-shot story for the upcoming 19th and 20th issues of its Weekly Shonen Jump. The two-episode series covers the untold story between the manga's final 343rd chapter and the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions anime film. Takahashi provides the screenplay and original character designs for the film, and also serves as executive producer.

This is the first time for the manga series to be published in the magazine in 12 years since March 2004. The 19th issue will be released in Japan on April 11, the 20th will follow one week later, then the all-new feature film will hit the theaters on April 23.
