Promotional campaign allows Japanese smart phone users to collect digital stamps for free Coke products

Actress Rio Uchida (Sumire Sukeban ChainsawMr. Nietzsche in the Convenience Store) is a little too excited to enjoy the benefits of "Coke ON", a Japanese promotional campaign that allows participants to earn free Coca-cola products using a dedicated smart phone app.

 

 

The "Coke ON" app allows smart phone users to locate and interact with specialized Coca-cola vending machines. Each purchase nets the customer 1 digital stamp, and 15 digital stamps earns the customer a ticket that can be redeemed for a free drink with just the swipe of a finger. The "Coke ON" campaign rolls out all across Japan beginning in April of 2016.
