Ichijinsha's "Comic Yuri Hime" Goes Monthly from November

10 new serialization titles will be added

It was announced in its newest September 2016 issue published in Japan yesterday that Ichijinsha's bimonthly yuri manga anthology magazine Comic Yuri Hime will be released monthly from its January 2017 issue to be available on November 18, 2016. The change itself was confirmed by the magazine's editor-in-chief, Naritaro Nakamura, back in July 2015. In addition, 10 new serialization titles are planned to be added from the first monthly issue, and an "important announcement" will be also made in the issue (probably a new anime adaptation project?).

The magazine was launched as the successor to the short-lived Yuri Shimai magazine in July 2005. It was first published quarterly, then went to bimonthly in November 2010. Its current circulation is about 55,000. The most well-known title from the magazine is no doubt Namori's Yuruyuri, which has had three successful TV anime adaptations.
