VR Zone project to run from August 26 through October 10

Bandai Namco opened a virtual reality-focused area in Tokyo Plaza back in April, with plans to run the VR Zone: Project i Can space through October. As you might be able to tell in that frankly amazing clip, participants won't be piloting the life-size Gundam as it battles an enemy mobile suit, but they will be clinging for their dear lives to its hand. The shock and awe of Gundam VR: Daiba Assault lasts for about eight minutes, and will run folks ¥1,000 (about $10).
