"Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic" Launches New PV and Movie Poster

Additional cast and cruise ship screening plans also announced for upcoming anime film


The official Twitter feed for Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic, an upcoming theatrical anime film that adapts the "Ship Voyage arc" of Yana Toboso's popular supernatural manga, has released a wealth of new information concerning the film, including a new preview video (below), a new movie poster (above), new cast additions, and plans for a special screening aboard a cruise ship.

The new cast additions for Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic include:


  • Ryohei Kimura as Charles Grey.
  • Tomoaki Maeno as Charles Phips.
  • And Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Viscount Druitt.



Additionally, a special screening event entitled "Black Butler CRUISING PARTY - That Butler Ships Out" will be held aboard the Symphony Moderna luxury liner on January 14 and January 15, 2017. The cruise departs from Hinode Pier and tours Tokyo Bay. A screening of Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic and a meal are included as part of the cruise package.



Tickets to the "Black Butler CRUISING PARTY - That Butler Ships Out" go on sale on October 22, 2016 and cost 19,800 yen ($190.70 US) which includes the cost of the cruise, drinks, and a meal as well as taxes and service charges. A semi-formal dress code is required to participate.
