Looking back two decades or more, Japanese site Charapedia has asked fans to name their favorite anime themes (opening or ending) of the 1990's in a pair of 10,000 Reader Polls, split up by gender of the anison singer. The pool of voters was 61.6% male in the female singer survey and 68.3% male in the male singer survey.
