"Chronos Ruler" TV Anime Protects the Timeline in 2017

Adaptation based on manga by PONJEA features direction by Masato Matsune and animation by project No.9

Chronos Ruler (known in Japan as Jikan no Shihaisha), a manga by Taiwanese artist PONJEA about supernatural guardians protecting the timeline from interference by meddling humans and malevolent demons, is being adapted into a TV anime scheduled to debut in 2017.

The series will feature direction by Masato Matsune, series composition by Michiko Yokote, and animation by project No.9. Jun Fukuyama will star as Vikt, the main character and also a guardian known as the "Ace Ruler". Kaito Ishikawa will star as Kiri, Vikt's son and a guardian known as the "Splash Ruler". An official website featuring a teaser trailer has also been published.

The original Chronos Ruler manga is serialized in Shueisha's Shōnen Jump Plus digital manga magazine. In Chronos Ruler, people who wish to alter the past call forth time-devouring demons, and it falls to a group of supernatural guardians to protect the timeline.
