"Kappeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun" Cleans Up in Summer of 2017

Main staff of TV anime adaptation of soccer comedy manga by Taku Sakamoto will be announced on February 28, 2017

Additional details continue to trickle out concerning Kappeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun (aka Cleanliness Boy! Aoyama-kun), an upcoming TV anime based on the soccer comedy manga by Taku Sakamoto: the TV series will debut in the Summer season of 2017.

The main staff for Kappeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun will be announced in the Miracle Jump MAR. special issue that will be published in Japan by Shueisha on February 28, 2017.

Kappeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun is serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump seinen manga magazine. The series is a sports-comedy about a handsome young man who is a genius soccer player, but whose obsessive dedication to maintaining a fastidious appearance interferes with the game. For example, Aoyama-kun will only perform a throw in if he's wearing cleaning gloves, and heading and tackling are just too messy!
