"Kemono Friends" Confirmed as The Most Tweeted Winter 2017 TV Anime

1st guidebook with a Blu-ray has started accepting pre-orders again

Web Newtype has released the report on the most tweeted TV anime titles during this winter 2017 season, conducted by KADOKAWA ASCII Research Laboratories. The result was based on the tweeted numbers of the anime's official titles, its abbreviation and tags, gathered between January 24 and February 21. As a proof of its current dominating popularity among fans, YAOYOROZU's full 3DCG series Kemono Friends was tweeted 1,257,696 times during the period, which was four times more than the second most popular title Gintama was mentioned. Also as reported, due to the huge number that far exceeded the initial expectation, Japanese retailers

had to stop accepting pre-orders for the first guidebook for the Kemono Friends anime series, which

contains the TV anime's first two episodes. But thanks to the reprint orders that was hurriedly decided,

some stores including Kadokawa Store have started accepting it again. But shipping for the reprints is

expected to be a few weeks later than the original release day, March 25.
