Unlikely Affections Blossom in "Koi wa Ameagari no You ni" Anime Adaptation

Announcement leaked via a "flying get" report from the 14th issue of Shogakukan's "Weekly Big Comic Spirits" magazine


Recently, the official Twitter account teased a major announcement for Jun Mayuzuki's youth love story manga, Koi wa Ameagari no You ni ("Love is Like After the Rain"), and now thanks to a "flying get" report making the rounds online, it appears that the series will receive an anime adaptation.



The news comes from the 14th issue of this year's release of Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits seinen manga, manga magazine, which will be published in Japan on March 06, 2017. Further details about the production (such as the cast, the crew, the format, and the release date) are currently unknown.



Serialized in Weekly Big Comic SpiritsKoi wa Ameagari no You ni tells the story of Akira Tachibana, a 17 year old 2nd year high school student who is known for her cool and emotionally detached demeanor.  Akira is secretly in love with the hapless, middle-aged manager at the family restaurant where she works part-time.
