"Koi wa Ameagari no You ni" Joins the noitaminA Block in 2018

New key visual published for TV anime adaptation of youth love story manga by Jun Mayuzuki

The recently announced anime adaptation of Jun Mayuzuki's youth love story manga Koi wa Ameagari no You ni (also known by the English title After the Rain) will be a TV anime series that will debut on Fuji TV's "noitaminA" programming block in January of 2018.



Although no further details about the adaptation's cast and staff have yet been released, a new key visual illustrated by Jun Mayuzuki (below) and a 30 second teaser trailer (above) have been released. An official website and Twitter feed (@koiame_anime) for Koi wa Ameagari no You ni have also been published.



The original Koi wa Ameagari no You ni manga is serialized in Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits seinen manga magazine. The series tells the story of Akira Tachibana, a 17 year old 2nd year high school student who is known for her cool and emotionally detached demeanor.  Akira is secretly in love with the hapless, middle-aged manager at the family restaurant where she works part-time.
