Twice a year, Tokushima turns itself over to anime fans with Machi Asobi, a city-wide convention organized by ufotable head Hikaru Kondo. Visitors can see studio booths, a river cruise with anime art exhibitions, itasha unveilings, voice actor performances, and lots more.
This spring, Tokushima is kicking of Machi Asobi by handing station master duties off to Eromanga-sensei herself, Akane Fujita.
Fujita donned the uniform and sash, met fans, then got down to work behind the microphone.
Machi Asobi Vol. 18 starts today and runs until Sunday. More information on this weekend's event can be found at their official website.
