Chinese / Japanese co-production is based on the real life "ROBOMASTERS" engineering competition


A new trailer is now available online for ROBOMASTERS THE ANIMATED SERIES, an upcoming Chinese / Japanese co-production based on the real-life engineering competition where students compete to design and build the best robot.



The story of ROBOMASTERS THE ANIMATED SERIES follows Tantan, a freshman university student who is determined to perfect his aerial drone without any assistance from others. A chance encounter leads Tantan to become more open-minded about his design philosophy, and soon Tantan and his new friends are gearing up to compete in the annual "ROBOMASTERS" engineering contest.



ROBOMASTERS THE ANIMATED SERIES is directed by Yasutaka Yamamoto and features animation by Dandelion Animation Studio LLC and Gonzo. The release date for the series has not yet been announced.
