"The Irregular at Magic High School" Film Crosses 500 Million Yen Mark in Japan

6th week theatergoers will receive a clear file drawn by the character designer

Aniplex has confirmed that The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Calls the Stars, the all-new anime feature film based on Tsutomu Sato's popular light novel series released in 59 theaters on June 17, is still being loved by the fans and has now collected over 500 million yen at the Japanese box office. As reported, the 90-minute film crossed the 400 million yen mark two weeks ago.

Following the fifth week's newly-written 80-page novel "Zoku Tsuioku-hen: Itetsuku Shima" (Recollection Arc Sequel: The Frozen Island) by the original novel author, the sixth week's theatergoers (July 22-28) will receive a visual clear file newly drawn by the anime character designer Kana Ishida.
