Check Out "Your Name." OP Movie Storyboard Video Drawn by Makoto Shinkai

To promote the DVD/Blu-ray release of the mega hit anime film Kimi no Na wa./Your Name. in Japan today, director Makoto Shinkai has posted a two-minute video to introduce the storyboard images drawn for the film's OP movie, accompanied by RADWIMPS' "Yume Tourou" on the Comix Waves' official YouTube channel. A full-length video of the storyboard images is included in a bonus disc for the Blu-ray Collector's edition.


The 107-minute youth sci-fi film was released in Japan on August 26, 2016. It has earned a massive 25.03 billion yen from its domestic run, becoming the second top-grossing Japanese film in history, only behind Hayao Miyazaki's Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi/Spirited Away in 2001 with 30.8 billion yen.
