If you haven't already noticed, the latest Dragon Quest title means Slimes have taken Japan by storm again. The critters are available as game controllers, hats, tables, and tissue box covers. The latest version to hit stores is big and cuddly. And probably already out of stock.
Measuring about 65 cm x 60 cm x 60 cm when not squished, the Slime beanbag chair is made of polyester and is squishy enough to serve as a comfy seat. It retails for 17,064 (tax included) on the Square Enix store.
At the moment (and unsurprisingly), sadly it looks like the stock has already flown off the shelves. But with the popularity of all things Dragon Quest at the moment, we can hope that they'll be restocked soon.
