Capcom updated details for Monster Hunter: World, which is officially set for a global launch on PS4 and Xbox One on January 26, 2018. The PC version will follow later. In addition to a standard release, World will be available in a Digital Deluxe Edition and Collector's Edition, and Japan is getting a special PS4 Pro console on December 7.
Before we get to the details on these editions, here's the Tokyo Game Show trailer:
The Digital Deluxe Edition includes a digital copy of the game and additional customizable options, including a Samurai Set skin (see thumbnail), three gestures, two sticker sets, and an extra face paint and hair style option for the hunter. It'll be $69.99, with contents also for sale separately, and the PS4 version packs in an extra bonus of 14 weapon-themed avatars.
Those who throw down $149.99 for North America's physical Collector's Edition will get a copy of the game, voucher for the above customizable options, a 32-page hardcover art book, monster statue, and digital soundtrack.
