"Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles" Heads to Tokyo Game Show 2017

TV anime based on manga by Naru Narumi about clandestine ramen-fan is currently in production

 

Tokyo Game Show 2017 is just around the corner, and a new challenger has thrown her bowl into the ring with the announcement of the development of a smart phone game based on Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles. (known in Japan as Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san), a manga by Naru Narumi about a high school girl who spends her free time in search of the perfect gourmet noodle experience.

 

 

More information will be released at the avex pictures booth at Tokyo Game Show 2017, which runs from September 21 - 24, 2017, at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Mihama Ward, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. A stage event featuring voice actress Akari Kitō and chief engineer Minato of Samurai Soft is also planned for September 24 at TGS2017.

 


The original Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san manga is serialized in Takeshobo's Manga Life STORIA magazine. The TV anime adaptation is directed by Kenji Seto and features animation by Studio Gokumi. The story follows a high school student named Koizumi who appears to be an aloof "cool beauty" type, but who is secretly a high-level ramen aficionado. In her free time, Koizumi scours the Japanese culinary world in search of the perfect bowl of ramen.
