The official website for the upcoming two-part anime film project based on Nanae Chrono's historical fiction manga Peacemaker Kurogane announced today on October 11 that its first part "Omoumich" (literally translated as The Way of Believing) is set for a release on June 2, 2018, then the second part "Yuumei" (Friends Life) will follow in the fall of the same year.
The new anime film adaptations are directed by Hiroshi Takeuchi (Blade & Soul) alongside screenplay writer Eiji Umehara (Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World) and character designer Sayaka Koiso (Rokka: Braves of the Six Flowers). WHITE FOX (Grimoire of Zero) works on anime production.
The latest key visual featuring the protagonist Tetsunosuke Ichimura, Susumu Yamazaki, Hajime Saito, and Suzu Yamatoya (in the back) is also revealed.
